the ancient world.
On this amazing
excursion you will:

Meet your guide and
leave Izmir port by luxury vehicle on an
approximate 55-minute ride through the
agricultural fields to Ephesus.

See the city ruled by many civilizations since
600 BC, developing into a focal point of trade,
culture and power.

Follow your guide past the Hadrian Temple, an
impressive Corinthian-style temple which is the
first structure to be made totally of marble.

Walk down the Arcadian Way, a beautiful marble
street, and on to the breathtaking Celsius
Library, one of the best-preserved libraries in
the world.

View the Baths of Scholastikia and enter the Great Theatre, dating back
to the Hellenistic period.

See the theatre, able to seat approximately
24,000 spectators, built into a hill and
believed that St. Paul preached Christianity
here.

NOTE: This excursion involves walking over relatively uneven
surfaces and cobblestones and can be slippery when wet.
Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, water and a hat are
recommended.
Duration
: 4.5 hours
Optional: Terrace Houses is located in the ancient city
of Ephesus and can be added into itinerary with 10-US$ extra per
person. It will extend tour duration around 30 mins. Ephesus has
1 mile ( 1.5 k.m.) walking distance and Terrace Houses has steps.
Not recommended for people with physical disabilities.
